Project Coordinator / Project Administrator / Document Control

Duration: Established office for 5+ years, with potential future relocation closer to New Haven

Key Responsibilities
1. Document Control & Organization
-
Upload and download project documents.

Maintain organization of files within Procore, Compass, and internal systems.

Keep project logs current (RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.).
2. Submittals & RFIs
-
Review, proofread, and submit formal project correspondence.
-
Draft and send RFIs; maintain accurate logs.
3. Project Coordination & Administrative Support
-
Schedule material deliveries.
-
Handle general clerical and office support duties.
-
Assist Project Managers with technical and administrative tasks (based on experience).

Help coordinate daily project activities and team communications.

Support drawing reviews and specification compliance (depending on experience).
Experience & Background
-
Open to a range of experience levels from administrative/document control through PE/APM level.
-
Rail experience not required.
-
Construction project background (civil, building, transportation) is highly valued.
-
Electrical experience not required.
Preferred Tools & Platforms
-
Software: Procore, Compass, Excel
-
Systems: Familiarity with internal file management systems
