About the Opportunity
BestLogic Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Milling Setup / Operator for a top manufacturing client. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can independently manage complex setups, adjustments, and high-precision milling operations.
You'll be a key contributor to production success and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities

Perform complete setups and operation of CNC milling machines

Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings

Make program edits and optimize machining processes

Select tooling and determine appropriate feeds and speeds

Run first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet specifications

Monitor production runs and make real-time adjustments as needed

Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

Maintain production efficiency while ensuring high-quality output
-
Accurately complete all required production documentation

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Support training of junior machinists and operators
-
Follow all company safety and operational procedures
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
5+ years of CNC milling setup and operation experience

Strong understanding of multi-axis milling operations
-
Proficiency with blueprint reading and GD&T
-
Experience with precision inspection tools
-
Ability to work independently and manage complex setups
-
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Must comply with ITAR/EAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
-
Familiarity with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)

Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience

Leadership or mentoring experience
