CNC Machinist (Large Parts & 2nd Shift)

Position: CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) 

Shift: 2nd                          Hour: 3:30pm - Midnight Type: Full-Time                 Mode:  Direct Placement Pay Range:$24-33           Industry: Manufacturing   

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This a permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss. ​

Principle Duties  ​ 

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers. 
• Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes. Works from Blueprint Requirements.
• Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds. 
• Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools. Able to work Independently with minimal supervision. 
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Operates Overhead Cranes for Large-Part Manufacturing. 
• Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.) 
• Re-orders Tools as needed. 

Requirements 

• 2-3 Years of Experience with CNC Milling, CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss 
• High School Diploma OR GED OR Vocational School Training Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. 
• Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools.​
