About the job CNC Machinist (Large Parts & 2nd Shift)
Position: CNC Machinist (Large-Parts)
Shift: 2nd Hour: 3:30pm - Midnight Type: Full-Time Mode: Direct Placement Pay Range:$24-33 Industry: Manufacturing
Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This a permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.
Principle Duties
- Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers.
- Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes. Works from Blueprint Requirements.
- Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds.
- Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools. Able to work Independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Operates Overhead Cranes for Large-Part Manufacturing.
- Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.)
- Re-orders Tools as needed.
Requirements
- 2-3 Years of Experience with CNC Milling, CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss
- High School Diploma OR GED OR Vocational School Training Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools.
