BestLogic Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our clients team in the OEM and Overhaul & Repair department. This role involves performing a variety of mechanical assembly, testing, and finishing tasks on aerospace components while maintaining strict compliance with quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the quality of own work and follow all Traveler/Operation sheets.

Perform assembly, inspection, and finishing tasks including:
-
Plastic bead blasting & aluminum oxide blasting
-
Parts cleaning, deburring, painting, epoxy application
-
Hand drilling using jigs
-
Threaded insert replacement
-
Conventional milling operations
-
Oil flow tests & pressure testing
-

Maintain accountability by properly signing off on production travelers.

Handle components with care to avoid damage.

Perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines and equipment.

Ensure proper use and timely return of calibrated measuring instruments.

Follow all safety requirements and maintain good housekeeping practices.

Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience required; aerospace parts experience strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
-
Regularly lift and handle 30-50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and precision.
- Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience
