Senior DevOps Enginer

About the Role

Were seeking a business and solution-oriented DevOps Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on software security, debugging best practices, integration, and automation.
Youll be responsible for the management, creation, and maintenance of Avatiers cloud infrastructure, while collaborating directly with customers and partners to resolve technical challenges.

️ Main Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and optimize AWS environments (EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC, SSL, etc.).

• Implement cost optimization strategies (multi-year plans, shared resources).

• Automate cloud trial provisioning and decommissioning.

• Work across Unix, Windows, Docker (EKS clusters) and related technologies.

• Maintain infrastructure diagrams and documentation.

• Manage keys, spreadsheets, and secure key storage systems.

• Review and enhance DevOps workflows for efficiency and scalability.

Technical Requirements

• AWS: EKS, EC2, RDS (MS SQL), VPC (regions/AZs), S3, ElasticSearch, ElastiCache, Load Balancers.

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (expert level), CloudFormation (plus).

• CI/CD: GitHub & GitHub Actions.

• Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos.

• Security: IAM, MFA, SAML, Security Groups, SSL, AD, LDAP, DNS.

• OS Administration: Windows, Linux, Unix; PowerShell, Bash scripting.

• Networking: TCP/IP, asymmetric routing troubleshooting.

• Containers: Docker on Windows & Ubuntu.

• Programming/Markup: YAML, JSON, REST API endpoints, .NET familiarity.

• Documentation: SOPs, RCA reports, visual architecture diagrams.

Desirable Skills

• Public/private key management.

• Ubuntu patching, user & security management.

• AWS Certificate Manager and CloudFormation templates.

• Active Directory (Windows) administration.

• HashiCorp toolset familiarity.

• Experience with CloudFlare, New Relic, Aqua, CloudSploit, or ParkMyCloud.

Certifications

• AWS Certified Professional DevOps Engineer (Required or in progress).
