- At least 5 years of experience in Native Android development, including at least 3 years of Kotlin.
- A deep understanding of interacting with various APIs to load data efficiently from the network.
- Familiarity with various caching patterns to balance data accuracy with loadingperformance.
- Knowledge of Mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices including material design.
- Knowledge in mobile app instrumentation, bug triaging, analytics, and the mobile app lifecycle
- Experience interacting with and integrating 3rd party vendor technologies using the supplied SDKs
- Experience collaborating with design and cross functional engineering teams to make the complex simple for the user
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment using cloud based toolsets Ability to coach less experienced developers and work closely with them to execute on their goals by improving their knowledge with supportive feedback.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bonus (not required): Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or Full-stack development experience and experience with accessibility
