Summary of the Role

We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Manager who is eager to seize a startup opportunity as a founding member. This role involves creating and building the digital marketing function over time. This position offers a meaningful financial reward through stock options, especially as we aim for an exit in the next 5-7 years. Candidates looking for constant direction from senior management may find this position unsuitable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize customer websites, focusing on SEO growth using tools like WordPress and Webflow while managing external consultants for website graphics.
  • Manage SEM campaigns for customers including spend management.
  • Create email marketing campaigns with varied content to enhance open and click rates.
  • Oversee social media campaigns mainly on LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Conduct data creation and cleansing using tools such as Crunchbase, Hunter.io, and Uplead, overseeing a direct report executing these tasks.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize spending and performance based on analytics.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for our marketing efforts.
  • Utilize strong analytical abilities to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across various channels and touchpoints.


Required Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in digital marketing, with 1-2 years in the US market.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong public speaking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and extremely well organized, capable of juggling multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks quickly and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience with Google GSuite and Hubspot, along with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with at least one email marketing automation tool and LinkedIn campaign manager.
