Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Frontend Developer to design and implement engaging, high-performance user interfaces for AEM-based web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product teams to build responsive and visually appealing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development for AEM

  • Develop and customize AEM components, templates, and client-side applications using React/Angular, Sightly/HTL, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
  • Ensure seamless integration of AEM components with backend services and APIs.
  • Build mobile-first, responsive, and accessible designs with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Work with AEM Core Components, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Headless CMS features.

2. UI/UX Implementation

  • Convert design mockups (e.g., from Figma) into pixel-perfect UI components.
  • Apply modern CSS methodologies such as BEM, Tailwind CSS, and CSS-in-JS.
  • Improve site navigation, animations, and interactivity to enhance user experience.

3. Performance & Optimization

  • Implement optimizations like lazy loading, asset bundling, caching, and minimizing render-blocking resources.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and follow SEO best practices.
  • Improve page load speeds and Core Web Vitals.

4. AEM-Specific Integrations

  • Work with Client Libraries (ClientLibs), JavaScript Use API, and CSS/JS optimizations specific to AEM.
  • Integrate AEM with third-party APIs, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and personalization tools.
  • Configure and optimize AEM Dispatcher rules for efficient content delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development with React/AEM.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.
  • Experience with Sightly/HTL, ClientLibs, and frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for headless AEM apps.
  • Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
