Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AEM Full-Stack Team Lead to oversee the development and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)-based solutions. This role requires deep expertise in AEM architecture, backend development (Java), frontend technologies, and integrations. As a technical leader, you will drive best practices, mentor a team of developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Development

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AEM-based web applications, components, and services.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security of AEM solutions.
  • AWS: Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
  • Drive full-stack development, including backend (Java, OSGi, Sling) and frontend (React, Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Sightly/HTL).
  • Oversee AEM workflows, templates, content fragments, and headless CMS capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to best coding practices, design patterns, and clean architecture.

Team Management & Mentorship

  • Lead and mentor a team of AEM developers (backend & frontend), providing technical guidance, code reviews, and career growth support.
  • Drive an agile development environment with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Architecture & System Integration

  • Define and implement AEM architectural best practices and development standards.
  • Oversee AEM integrations with third-party tools, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, eCommerce platforms, DAMs, and CRM systems.
  • Ensure smooth API development and integrations using RESTful services, GraphQL, and microservices.
  • Work with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Adobe Cloud Manager).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, UX designers, product managers, and marketing teams to define technical requirements.
  • Provide technical recommendations and roadmap planning for AEM enhancements.
  • Collaborate with QA and automation teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience, building, managing large teams with complex scope.
  • 8+ years of IT experience, preferably in Front End enablement space.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate across the organization, up the organization, and to technical teams.
  • Should have led large scale projects, development projects, integration and supporting large scale platforms.
  • Should have working experience in global systems, multiple teams including offshore.
  • Good people management and leadership skills.
