Position Title: Campaign Specialist 

Location: Cape Town 

Introduction: Our client is seeking a Campaign Specialist to join a dynamic team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of direct marketing campaigns across various digital marketing communication channels. You will contribute to driving effective customer communication strategies across the group by working closely with various brand marketing teams to deliver the right message to the right customer at the right time through the right channel. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective direct marketing campaigns

• Collaborate with brand marketing teams to align campaigns with marketing calendars and goals

• Work with analysts to identify key customer segments and opportunities for maximum ROI

• Utilize Martech tools to build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns

• Ensure campaigns adhere to policy, business, and consent rules

• Perform rigorous QA checks to guarantee accuracy and functionality

• Conduct post-campaign analysis and create comprehensive reports

• Present findings to marketing teams and suggest improvements for future campaigns

• Support the development and maintenance of the Groups direct marketing platform

• Build and monitor automated journeys across multiple segments to enhance customer communication

• Drive platform improvements and contribute to ongoing development

Qualifications and Skills Requirements: 

• Relevant BCom/IT/IS Degree or Diploma

• 3-5 years of experience in direct marketing or CRM execution

• Proficiency with Martech platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAS, Bloomreach)

• Experience in data extraction, campaign fulfilment, business analysis, and report automation

• Resilient, proactive, and able to take initiative

• Passionate about customer-centric marketing and data-driven decision-making

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking

• Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills

• Adaptable and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
