Position Title: Data & Business Insights Analyst

Location: Cape Town or Johannesburg (This is a hybrid role, but our client has offices in CT and JHB, so you can work from either location)

Introduction: Our client is seeking a skilled Data & Business Insights Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize Python and SQL to extract, clean, and analyse large datasets from various sources.

• Translate data findings into meaningful business insights and recommendations.

• Develop clear dashboards and reports to present insights effectively to stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Development) to support strategic decision-making.

• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to build predictive models for business forecasting.

• Continuously improve data analytics processes and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• Proven experience (3 years) in data analysis, preferably in business intelligence or analytics.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with predictive modeling techniques.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
