Our client in the healthcare sector is seeking a skilled Statistical Analyst Manager to lead their Analytics and Reporting team. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of statistical analysts; manage performance and motivation.

• Statistical Analysis & Model Development: Define key business metrics, develop predictive models, and conduct complex data analysis to provide insights.
  
• Model Maintenance & Enhancement: Draft technical documentation, monitor existing models, and apply periodic calibration techniques.
  
• Business Communication & Facilitation: Present complex statistical results in an easily understandable manner and create innovative visualisation tools.
  
• Data Management & Leveraging: Translate business requirements into technical specifications, manipulate data for analysis, and build algorithms to elevate raw data into actionable information.
  
• Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication and building beneficial relationships.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• Essential: BSc in Quantitative Management, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Mathematics

• Minimum of 5 years in a relevant role; healthcare industry experience preferred.

• Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)

• Advanced knowledge of statistical methodology and risk adjustment methodologies (e.g. casemix)

• Strong problem-solving abilities and financial acumen (e.g. budget forecasting).

• Expertise in healthcare industry trends and numerical data analysis.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
