Job Summary:

The Field Risk Officer plays a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to BillEases field operations. This position involves close collaboration with sales teams, operations, and compliance to ensure risk control, fraud prevention, and adherence to company policies while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular field audits and inspections to monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

  • Identify potential risks related to credit, fraud, and operational inefficiencies in field activities

  • Investigate and report incidents of fraud, misconduct, or non-compliance in the field

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Risk teams to develop risk mitigation strategies

  • Support the onboarding and training of field staff on risk awareness and control procedures

  • Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments, incidents, and recommended actions

  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local regulations and internal controls

  • Monitor and analyze field data to identify trends and potential risk exposures

  • Assist in improving policies, processes, and controls to minimize risk while enabling business objectives


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field

  • 2+ years experience in risk management, audit, or compliance, preferably in fintech or financial services

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team, often in field environments

  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and reporting software
