Chief Risk Officer
The Chief Risk Officer will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization by
leading the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function for RBSM.
Remote with Periodic RTO in Metro Manila, Philippines
This executive position is responsible for:
- Developing and executing comprehensive risk management strategies, overseeing credit and operational risk, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in risk management within the banking industry and demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for RBSM
- Drive the ERM function, ensuring a proactive and holistic approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all business areas.
Credit Risk Oversight:
- Oversee credit risk management activities, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL) computations, provisioning, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Operational Risk Management:
- Direct efforts to identify, assess, and control operational risks, implementing robust frameworks and controls to minimize organizational exposure.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
- Develop, maintain, and update risk assessment and mitigation strategies aligned with the banks objectives and regulatory requirements.
Fraud Risk Management:
- Provide oversight on fraud risk management initiatives, including prevention, detection, and investigation measures.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors Degree
- Proven experience in risk management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing risk management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of enterprise, credit, operational, and fraud risk management.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
