Were hiring for a detail-oriented Virtual Typist to join a growing team of remote professionals supporting document processing needs for a variety of industries from law firms to small businesses and clinics. If you can type with accuracy, follow formatting instructions, and stay organized, this could be a perfect fit. Whether you're a fast typist or just have strong attention to detail, well provide the training you need to succeed.
What You'll Do:
- Type and format documents based on provided templates and guidelines (Word, Google Docs, PDFs, etc.)
- Transcribe handwritten or scanned notes into digital formats
- Review typed content for grammar, spelling, and consistency
- Manage document versions and naming conventions
- Respond to client requests through email or internal messaging platforms
- Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive or private information
What Were Looking For:
- Typing speed of 45 WPM or better (or willing to improve quickly!)
- Strong command of written English
- Detail-obsessed you catch typos and love a clean document
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with cloud tools (Google Drive, Dropbox, Zoom) is a plus not a dealbreaker
Nice to Have (but NOT required):
- Experience with transcription or typing-based jobs
- Familiarity with document formatting (headers, footers, pagination)
- Prior admin or back-office work
