Key Responsibilities
- Achieving Sales Target: To meet sales targets based with sales plans relating to Sales Rolling Forecast and update Head of Sales on monthly basis. Craft and execute effective short- and long-term sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for assigned territories together with a Regional Sales Manager.
- Sales team management: To train, mentor, and manage sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement to drive results.
- Relationship management with customers and suppliers: To cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key customers in the region, addressing their concerns and ensuring supplier retention and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Product Presentation and Demonstration: To actively involves in marketing activities together with sales team (market of focus). To prepare and submission of sales tenders
- Sales performance monitoring: To monitor and evaluate sales performance in the MED business unit using relevant sales metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Budget and forecasting: To prepare and manage the sales budget for marketing, set sales targets for sales team, and forecast revenue and growth in line with organizational goals.
- Market research and analysis: To stay current on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, utilizing this information to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Reporting: To prepare and present regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Support: Provide support to Head of Business Unit and Regional Business Manager to develop respective research market to meet growth target.
- Any other duties assigned by Senior Management team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.
- 5 years of sales experience in the medical device industry with at least 2 years in a distribution business.
- Good communication skills
- Team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to inform business strategies.
- Strong understanding of the medical device industry, including knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry trends
- Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
