Position: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments

- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards

- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management

- Communicate with carriers and track shipments to ensure timely delivery

- Resolve any shipping or receiving issues in a timely manner

- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area

- Adhere to all safety and quality standards

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
