What you will do:
BITROCK is seeking a Technical Pre-sales Manager to join our team based in Milan. The successful candidate will team up with the Sales Executives in customer facing activities, representing the first touch-point for the Bitrock technical offering. You will act as the natural connection between the sales department and the CTO’s office and company SME’s, helping to gather and understand customer’s requirements and finalize commercial offers.
You will report to the Sales Director in order to coordinate activities and constantly monitor the achievements.
You will also be constantly involved in the activities planned with the Bitrock technology partners and you will be in charge of the progresses in pre-sales certifications.
You will get exposed to the latest technologies in the Software Development field and collaborate with an innovative and energetic team that delivers solutions to multinational clients.
Job Purpose & Responsibilities
Generate documents to support Bitrock technical offering
Identify opportunities and help the sales team convert into potential business, understand, and drive the value proposition
Assist with tenders. Compile product information from multiple sources, write technical documentation and proposals
Understand software architectures and technical requirements and be comfortable to lead presentations and discussions on these areas with prospects
Support sales calls with the correct technical knowledge
Collaborate with Technology Partners to create joint activities (webinars, dedicated offerings)
Deliver Presentations and Demos of Products to both technical and non-technical customers
Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company’s benefit
Collaborate at both, strategic and tactical levels with the Marketing & Communication team and the CTO’s office
Who you are
You have a strong technical background and you are an enthusiastic and passionate Pre-Sales Manager with 5-6 year of experience in enterprise-grade technology consulting. You are driven to success and strongly confident of your skills. Then, you are team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
(Pre-)Sales enterprise software experience, skillset to establish trust with clients, and ability to influence key decision makers in the sales cycle;
Ability to rapidly understand and translate clients’ business challenges and concerns into a solution oriented discussion;
Persuasive communication skills for presenting to all customer levels, from CxO’s to Business Influencers
Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills;
Strong passion for technology and IT products
- Experience and proven knowledge in the following technologies will be considered as a plus:
cloud native software
Software Architecture Design
Experience in international environments will be also considered a plus
Master’s Degree [Computer Science Will be considered a plus]
Fluent English is mandatory
Availability to travel as needed and to work flexible hours throughout the sales territory
