Position Overview

As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will assemble, install, test, and support electromechanical systems and components used in machine operations. You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly built, tested, and maintained for safe and efficient operation.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM)
  • Hourly Pay: $30.97 – $35.38 (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Shift Differential: +$3.25/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, align, and fit mechanical and electromechanical components using hand and power tools, fixtures, and templates
  • Install electrical and electronic parts using soldering tools and standard hand tools
  • Test assemblies using diagnostic instruments such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters
  • Verify machine readiness and ensure compliance with operational safety standards
  • Perform routine testing and collect operational performance data
  • Analyze machine performance and support downtime reduction initiatives using CMMS work orders
  • Document maintenance and production activities accurately in a CMMS system
  • Support production goals by completing assigned tasks from team leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Progress toward a degree (technical or related field preferred)
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or technical roles
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to use a computer for CMMS work orders and parts lookup
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and stooping for extended periods

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with electromechanical assembly or industrial maintenance
  • Experience using diagnostic or testing equipment
  • Exposure to CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems
