Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation by coordinating maintenance schedules, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring efficient use of resources. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who excels in planning, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will play a key role in maximizing equipment uptime, managing preventive maintenance programs, and aligning maintenance activities with production needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs based on equipment performance and operational needs
  • Create, prioritize, and manage work orders using CMMS or similar maintenance systems
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to reduce operational disruptions
  • Maintain and manage spare parts inventory, including sourcing, tracking, and staging materials for maintenance work
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment performance and process efficiency
  • Monitor equipment performance data and support root cause analysis and reliability improvements
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues and adjust schedules as needed
  • Support training and adoption of maintenance systems and best practices within the team

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, facilities maintenance, or industrial maintenance planning (not purely administrative experience)
  • Proven experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Strong background in preventive maintenance programs, including building or improving PM processes
  • Experience scheduling maintenance activities in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Inventory management and spare parts coordination experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume production environments
  • Exposure to purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination related to maintenance operations
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement or reliability-centered maintenance practices
