The ERP Functional Analyst plays a key role in analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and configuring ERP systems to meet organizational needs. They act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that ERP solutions align with operational and strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analysing business requirements and translating them into ERP configurations and solutions.
- Supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of ERP functionalities.
- Configuring ERP modules to align with business processes and requirements.
- Providing end-user support, troubleshooting system issues, and facilitating resolutions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to enhance ERP capabilities.
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Documenting functional specifications, process flows, and system configurations.
- Conducting training sessions and preparing user manuals for business users.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant policies.
ERP Functional Analyst
- Leading functional analysis workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Configuring ERP modules and supporting system enhancements.
- Conducting business process mapping and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Supporting data migration, interface development, and integration efforts.
- Providing guidance to junior analysts and business users.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Certifications in ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle Cloud ERP Certified, Workday Core HCM Certification) are a plus.
- Expertise in at least one major ERP system (SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, Workday).
- Knowledge of ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR.
- Ability to configure ERP applications and customize workflows.
- Understanding of SQL, data models, and integration tools.
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., SAP BI, Oracle BI, Workday Reporting).
- Familiarity with ERP implementation methodologies (e.g., ASAP, AIM, Agile, Workday methodology).
