Senior Back-End Engineer (NodeJs)

Job Description:

• Location: Paris, 3 to 4 days of remote
• Start date: To be defined
• Languages: English is mandatory

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will:

• Work as part of one of the engineering squad
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using NodeJs
• Work with PostgreSQL/SQS/Kubernetes
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Build scalable and secure APIs that power our platform
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  

We are looking for an experienced and motivated back-end developer who:

• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end development in software
• Wants to work with Typescript/Nodejs, it is ok if you dont have extending experience in Nodejs
• Has experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Understands fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
• Has experience with API development and RESTful services
• Thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Has excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bonus points if you have experience with deployment of ML models in production
