Industrial Mechanic – Dover, NJ

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Dover, NJ. This hands-on role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate has experience with hydraulic systems, welding (TIG and Fusion), and mechanical assembly. You will work both in-shop and on customer sites, providing top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic system issues
• Fabricate, install, and assemble parts as needed
• Align shafts, gearboxes, motors, and mechanical components
• Operate hydraulic presses and conduct system troubleshooting
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints
• Conduct field service visits to customer sites

Required Experience & Skills:

• 2+ years as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role
• Welding experience: TIG and Fusion welding required
• Hands-on hydraulic system assembly and troubleshooting
• Mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation
• Machinery assembly, rebuilding, and alignment
• Bearing, seal, and gearbox installation/repair
• Limited electrical wiring experience (motors, switches)
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding certifications a plus
• Hydraulic press operation experience
