Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: ~6:30–7:00 AM – 3:00–3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: ~3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- 3rd Shift: ~11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and continuous production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.
You will work with a variety of industrial equipment, including PLC-controlled systems, VFDs, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and production machinery, while supporting preventive maintenance and rapid breakdown response.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment, including PLC systems, VFDs, motors, pumps, and gearboxes
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams
- Document maintenance work, parts usage, and downtime details in CMMS
- Support safe startup/shutdown procedures and adhere to all safety regulations (OSHA, company, and facility standards)
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs with production teams
- Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions
- Support the training of new technicians and promote knowledge sharing
- Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (if applicable to the production line)
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting experience across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and VFD systems
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment
- Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance work-order systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other high-volume manufacturing environments
- TIG and stick welding experience
- Knowledge of machining, assembly practices, tools, and fixtures
- Strong understanding of shop operations and industrial equipment standards
Work Environment & Additional Details
- On-site role in a manufacturing facility
