Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, optimize, and manage electrical systems for critical infrastructure, including pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. This role focuses on power generation and controls, integrating advanced technologies like automation, PLCs, HMI systems, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance operational efficiency and safety. You will lead projects from concept to completion, ensure regulatory compliance, implement arc flash mitigation, and improve fault detection systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize electrical power systems and distribution networks
  • Integrate advanced technologies: automation, PLC/HMI, energy storage, real-time monitoring
  • Ensure safety: arc flash mitigation, fault detection, compliance with NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE
  • Manage projects from planning through execution, aligning with business goals
  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical development

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
  • 4+ years of experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industries (Tulsa: open to entry-level for I/II)
  • Strong power generation and controls expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC skills
  • Ability to review and implement arc flash studies
  • Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE)
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; safety-focused

Nice-to-Have:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC projects
  • PLC/HMI and instrumentation systems design experience
