Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess patients' functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs in an acute care rehabilitation setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, daily living activities, and overall quality of life
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices
  • Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in Arizona
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or outpatient therapy settings
  • Familiarity with neurological, orthopedic, or post-surgical rehabilitation
