Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' functional abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs in an acute care rehabilitation setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, daily living activities, and overall quality of life
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapy license in Arizona
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or outpatient therapy settings
- Familiarity with neurological, orthopedic, or post-surgical rehabilitation
