Service Technician – Tool Repair, Calibration & Field Support | Dickinson, TX | $22–$24/hr + Travel Pay

Travel: Up to 40% (Onshore & Offshore)

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform tool repair, calibration, conversion, field service, and training. This hands-on role includes work at our Dickinson facility, customer sites, and offshore locations. You'll also assist with toolbox fabrication, inventory management, and trade show setups. Travel incentives apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and calibrate tools in-shop and in the field.
• Provide field service support at customer sites and offshore.
• Track repairs, parts usage, and maintain accurate service records.
• Modify and prepare toolboxes for company tool kits, including labeling and painting.
• Set up, pack, and manage the company booth and tools for trade shows.
• Conduct training sessions and equipment demonstrations for customers.
• Perform product conversions and support sales activities.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with tool repair, calibration, and mechanical systems (hydraulic or torque tools preferred).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment in field and offshore environments.
• Knowledge of calibration procedures and safety standards.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and minor repairs.
• Proficiency in MS Office and service reporting.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory tracking and toolkit preparation.
• Ability to train customers in person and in groups.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including renting vehicles.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $22–$24/hr
• Training: 8–12 weeks (overtime not expected during training)
• Travel Incentives:
• Onshore: $25–$75/night depending on duration
• Offshore: $150/night
