Safety Coordinator – Ponca City, OK | 2nd Shift

Salary: $60K–$75K + up to 14% bonus potential
Shift: 2nd Shift (3 PM–12 AM, M–F; OT rate for 6th & 7th day)
Reports To: Safety Manager | Individual Contributor

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to drive a strong safety culture in our Ponca City manufacturing facility. You will partner with plant leadership to identify hazards, implement safety programs, conduct audits, and provide safety training to ensure compliance with OSHA and corporate safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Safety Manager in reviewing, updating, and implementing safety programs.
• Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Deliver and evaluate safety training for plant associates, including specialized training sessions.
• Perform audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, EHS regulations, and corporate safety policies.
• Advise operations teams on risk reduction and safe work practices.

Required Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience (assembly/machine shop).
• Supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced facility.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and make decisions.
• Comfortable in manufacturing environments: loud, hot/cold, refrigerated/freezer areas, strong smells.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CSP, CIH, or CPE certification.
• Experience in food manufacturing.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, standing, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs.
• May require personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas.
