Production Supervisor – Manufacturing / Food Production

Location: Ponca City, OK
Shifts: 1st Shift (7 AM–5 PM) or 2nd Shift (4 PM–1 AM), M–F + weekends as needed
Pay: $62,000–$75,000/year + up to 14% annual bonus (not guaranteed)
Overtime: OT paid for 6th & 7th day worked

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead operations on the processing floor. This role is responsible for supervising hourly employees, meeting daily production goals, and ensuring strict compliance with food safety, quality, productivity, and plant safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hourly production staff to meet yield, efficiency, uptime, and labor cost targets
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
• Enforce workplace safety and risk management practices
• Train, coach, and engage employees to drive performance and accountability
• Support labor relations, employee engagement, and workforce planning
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Superintendent on training and process improvements
• Participate in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive supervisory experience in production or manufacturing
• Experience leading hourly teams (7+ direct reports preferred)
• Strong decision-making, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working in loud, refrigerated, freezer, and strong-odor environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Experience in food manufacturing
• Background in process improvement or product development
• Experience developing training programs
• Proven success in improving employee engagement or resolving labor issues

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/processing floor with moving machinery
• Loud environment with hot, cold, refrigerated, and freezer conditions
