CNC Machinist – Mills & Lathes

CNC Machinist – Leominster, MA | $30–$40/hr DOE | Direct Hire

We're hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team in Leominster. This hands-on role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce and refurbish high-quality parts. This is a direct hire, on-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CNC mills/lathes to manufacture precision parts
• Interpret blueprints, tolerances, and specifications accurately
• Develop and maintain production schedules for on-time delivery
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, or CMM
• Cross-train across machining and assembly functions
• Track work order progress and report production quantities
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper machine guarding

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience (programming, setup, operation)
• Strong blueprint reading and specification interpretation
• Proficient in G-code/CAM, tooling, fixtures, and metrology
• Production CNC ownership and first-piece prove-out experience
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and available on-site in Leominster, MA

Preferred:

• Manufacturing, machinery, or packaging-equipment experience
• Experience in OEM or precision machining shops
