Field Service Technician II – Copier, Printer & MFP Repair | $25–$27/hr + Travel Allowance | Non-Exempt

In this role, you will provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of commercial printing and imaging equipment at client locations. Key Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Technician II, you will:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial copiers, printers, and multi-function imaging devices (MFPs).
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer service calls, ensuring equipment uptime and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records, including Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and other documentation.
- Identify product failure trends and serviceability issues, reporting findings to management.
- Ensure all assigned equipment meets operational and performance standards.
- Represent the company professionally in a customer-facing role, delivering excellent communication and service.
- Follow customer-specific protocols, including COVID-19 and other safety requirements.
- Work in a 24/7 customer-driven environment, including shift work and on-call rotations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, plus 1–2 years of hands-on experience with copiers, printers, or MFPs.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and digital networking.
- Successful completion of the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for travel to client sites.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including shifts and on-call rotations.
- Willingness and ability to obtain any required security clearances to access customer sites.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active (walking, standing, stooping, kneeling) more than 50% of the time.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with digital imaging equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in the field.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $25–$27/hr (non-exempt)
