Machine Operator – Laminator (Night Shift)

Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | 12-hour continental schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next, off every other weekend)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Laminator Operator I to join our night shift manufacturing team in Elk Grove Village. This role is responsible for operating laminating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laminating machines and support equipment efficiently and safely
• Mix and verify adhesives per production formulas
• Inspect first-piece output to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and follow job orders and production specifications
• Load raw materials, manage substrates, and monitor machine performance
• Maintain clean work areas in compliance with SQF and safety standards
• Handle hazardous materials and waste according to guidelines
• Identify and report safety, quality, or equipment issues
• Assist with machine setup, roller adjustments, and production coverage

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year of machine operator experience (lamination a plus)
• Ability to read a ruler or tape measure accurately
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Experience working with chemicals in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
• Strong attendance, safety awareness, and attention to detail
