Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment. This role ensures optimal equipment performance through preventive and predictive maintenance, minimizing downtime and improving production efficiency. This is a 1st shift, onsite position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
  • Diagnose equipment issues using electrical/electronic testing tools and blueprints/manuals
  • Operate hand and power tools, including drill presses, band saws, grinders, and hydraulic presses
  • Perform welding, brazing, and cutting as needed for repairs and fabrication
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap and downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE requirements
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Assist in training and supporting other maintenance personnel when required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
  • Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools (drill press, band saw, grinders, hydraulic press, etc.)
  • Welding (gas/electric), brazing, and cutting experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery and noise
  • Required PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear
  • Prolonged standing and physical activity required

Location & Commute

On-site role based in Bellefontaine, OH, serving surrounding areas including Logan, Union, Champaign, Hardin, Shelby, Clark, Allen, Marion, and Miami counties. A commute of up to ~45 minutes is recommended due to full-time onsite requirements.
