Overview
We are hiring a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of copiers, printers, and multi-function printers (MFPs). This is a customer-facing, field-based role ideal for technicians experienced in break/fix service, diagnostics, and equipment uptime support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform break/fix repair and preventive maintenance on copiers, printers, and MFPs
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, networking, and print issues on-site
- Respond to field service calls quickly and professionally
- Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation
- Ensure equipment uptime and performance standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Follow safety protocols and site requirements
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in printer/copier/MFP repair or field service
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Basic knowledge of networking and internet environments
- Ability to travel locally (valid driver's license required)
- Comfortable working on-call, shifts, and in a 24/7 environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Must be able to pass background/security clearances
Preferred
- Experience with digital imaging equipment, print systems, or managed print services (MPS)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$27/hour
- Monthly auto allowance or company vehicle option
- Travel reimbursement
