Job Summary
We are hiring a Manufacturing Associate I to support production operations in a high-quality manufacturing environment in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring product quality, and following established safety and quality standards. The position works in a team-based setting focused on efficiency, continuous improvement, and meeting production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
  • Complete accurate daily production records and documentation
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), TQM, and plant quality systems
  • Comply with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards
  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives (Lean Manufacturing)
  • Participate in required training and follow supervisory direction
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 quality standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Forklift operation experience required
  • Experience operating and maintaining production or assembly equipment
  • Ability to follow SOPs and maintain production documentation
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to record measurements accurately
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and repetitive motion
  • Use of hands for gripping, pushing, pulling, and handling materials
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Required use of PPE, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection

Work Environment
Manufacturing plant environment with adherence to strict safety and quality standards. Exposure to standard industrial conditions.

Location & Schedule

  • Bellefontaine, Ohio (Onsite, 5 days per week)
  • Candidates must be within commuting distance (Bellefontaine, Urbana, Sidney, Russells Point, Dayton metro area)
  • Commute time under 1 hour each way is strongly recommended due to the full-time onsite schedule
  • Local candidates preferred; relocation not provided
