We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead and execute the design and analysis of structural components for electrical power lines and traffic intersection systems. This role involves creating detailed calculations, overseeing structural drawings, and ensuring all deliverables meet engineering standards, customer requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design structural components for steel transmission poles, traffic structures, and related infrastructure.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and engineering calculations to support fabrication and design.
- Provide accurate inputs and review 3D modeling and fabrication drawings.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and engineering codes.
- Review and approve final structural drawings for quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to and maintain company engineering standards and best practices.
- Participate in internal and client design reviews, offering technical insights and recommendations.
- Deliver projects on time and within scope while maintaining quality standards.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License (required)
- Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in steel fabrication or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in PLS-POLE and familiarity with 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering codes, load analysis, and structural design principles.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Tech-savvy with solid computer and documentation skills.
