Commercial Construction Scheduler / Planner – Houston, TX

We are hiring a Commercial Construction Scheduler / Planner to support major energy and industrial construction projects in Houston, TX, and other locations. This role is part of our construction management and project controls team, responsible for scheduling, risk management, and project coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules and Integrated Master Schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule baseline management, and resource loading.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate schedule risks to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on progress, costs, and schedule updates.
  • Generate schedule analyses, reports, and recommendations to improve project performance.
  • Support construction management, quality control, and contractor oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years managing commercial construction projects, including scheduling and budget control.
  • 4+ years of direct project control experience with Primavera P6.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services.
  • Proficient in MS Project and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Writer).
  • Formal training in project scheduling, documentation techniques, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
