Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM
Occasional Friday overtime: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM

Compensation info: Base salary + 5% Metric Bonus + Shift differential of $500/month ($6,000/year) in addition to base salary.

Overview

We are hiring a Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing manufacturing team in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment in Ripon, WI. This leadership role is focused on driving safety, meeting production targets, and developing team members through a hands-on, servant leadership approach.

As a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will serve as the frontline leader responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient production, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
  • Build and maintain a strong safety-first culture through training, coaching, and compliance enforcement
  • Serve as the primary frontline leader for production team members on the 2nd shift
  • Train, coach, and develop employees in safety procedures, quality standards, equipment operation, and 5S practices
  • Promote and support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, waste reduction, process efficiency)
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules, operating metrics, and workflow requirements
  • Monitor and reduce waste, inventory levels, and work-in-progress through process improvements
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues on the production floor
  • Partner with Union Stewards on contract interpretation, discipline, and workforce communication
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to resolve production or equipment issues
  • Foster a respectful, collaborative, and engaged team environment

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a production leadership, lead, or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong focus on safety practices and team development in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience handling employee relations in a unionized environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Ripon, WI, on a 2nd shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing tools, including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and continuous improvement systems
  • Background in industries such as automotive, industrial manufacturing, appliances, food & beverage, or electronics
  • Exposure to production scheduling, process control, and performance metrics tracking
  • Internship, co-op, or prior supervisory experience in manufacturing operations

Work Environment & Location

This is an on-site manufacturing role based in Ripon, Wisconsin. Candidates should be located within commuting distance, including Ripon, Rosendale, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, and the surrounding areas. Relocation is not typically provided.
