Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all treatment procedures.
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and imaging systems.
- Accurately document treatment plans, patient progress, and equipment performance.
- Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and professional guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field from an accredited program.
- Active certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT or equivalent).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a patient-centered care approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to support patients during challenging treatments.
