Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Operate CT equipment, monitor image quality, and adjust parameters as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist radiologists with image interpretation and provide technical support as needed.
- Ensure proper radiation safety for patients, staff, and the environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to departmental standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current Radiation Operator certification in the state of Oregon.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging settings.
- Knowledge of PACS and EMR systems.
- Advanced certifications in CT imaging or specialized radiology procedures.
