Mechanical Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop large-scale mechanical systems from concept through commissioning
• Perform mechanical calculations, including stress, fatigue, life expectancy, and failure analysis
• Create and analyze mechanical system layouts, CAD drawings, and assembly documentation using AutoCAD and SolidWorks

• Integrate pneumatic and hydraulic control systems

• Support field installation, system testing, and commissioning

• Lead hazard and risk assessments, and failure mode analysis

• Interface with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and clients
• Act as technical lead and/or project manager on small-to-mid-size projects
• Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination, and schedule/budget tracking

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, including full system design
• Experience with ride systems, themed attractions, or amusement rides (ASTM F24 standards a plus)

• Strong command of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks

• Hands-on field and troubleshooting experience

• Willingness to travel locally up to 35%

• Ability to work in diverse environments,  from office settings to construction and installation sites
