About the job Licensed Psychologist
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic data and clinical observations.
- Provide evidence-based therapy (individual, group, or family) to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and facility standards.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and treatment planning sessions.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in a similar behavioral health or correctional facility setting.
- Strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
