What You'll Do:

• Lead and supervise a crew of skilled roofing technicians on commercial/industrial job sites.
• Oversee installation and repairs of various metal roofing systems (standing seam, R-panel, TPO over metal, custom-fabricated).
• Conduct material takeoffs, prepare estimates, and support project costing.
• Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, budgeting, and material logistics.
• Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and technical specs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure proper use of roofing materials, including aluminum, galvanized steel, copper, and stainless steel.
• Maintain high job site safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Perform quality control checks, including seam integrity, watertightness, and flashing installation.
• Train and mentor crew members to build technical and safety competencies.

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal roofing installation and repair.
• Prior experience leading a roofing crew on commercial/industrial projects.
• Expert knowledge of roofing materials: TPO, EPDM, self-adhered membranes, underlayment, insulation, edge metals, and fasteners.
• Comfortable with manual takeoffs, estimating tools, and project planning.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, spec sheets, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
