Overview
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanic I to support night shift operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and production systems
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems
- Diagnose issues related to PLC-controlled equipment and industrial motor control systems
- Support equipment used in blown film, sheet extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, slitting, or similar processes
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Ensure equipment uptime by responding quickly to breakdowns and minimizing production downtime
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all plant safety standards
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance
Required Qualifications
- Industrial manufacturing or military experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment
- Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance in a production environment
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of industrial motor controls
Preferred Experience
- Background in blown film, extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, slitting, or related converting/packaging equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with electrical troubleshooting skills
