Structural Engineer – Building Design & Construction

Job Description:

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role focused on the design, analysis, and development of structural systems for buildings, additions, and renovations. The ideal candidate is reliable, deadline-oriented, and experienced in construction and structural design.

You will work closely with architects, designers, and project teams to deliver safe, code-compliant, and efficient structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and infrastructure
• Develop structural drawings, details, and engineering calculations
• Collaborate with architects to integrate structural, functional, and aesthetic design
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Conduct site visits and inspections during construction phases
• Evaluate materials and recommend optimal construction methods
• Perform structural risk assessments and mitigation planning
• Prepare engineering reports, documentation, and project updates
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and field teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Experience in the construction or structural design industry required
• PE License or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
• Proficiency in structural analysis and CAD/design software
• Strong knowledge of building codes and engineering standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure

Compensation & Benefits:

• $90,000 – $115,000 per year
