We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician III to join our growing service team. In this role, you will provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair for commercial copiers, printers, and multi-function printers (MFPs) at client locations.
This is a customer-facing, field-based role in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment where equipment uptime, responsiveness, and technical expertise are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician III, you will:
- Perform break/fix repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on copiers, printers, and multifunction devices (MFPs)
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and connectivity issues in office imaging equipment
- Respond promptly to field service calls, ensuring minimal downtime for customers
- Complete and maintain accurate Field Service Reports, service logs, and expense reports
- Identify and report product failure trends and recurring service issues to management
- Ensure all serviced equipment meets performance and operational standards
- Deliver a high level of customer service, professionalism, and communication during on-site visits
- Follow all customer site protocols, including safety and compliance requirements
- Support operations in a 24/7 environment, including shift work and on-call rotations
- Represent the company as a trusted technical expert in the field
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2–4 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, Copier Technician, Printer Technician, or similar role
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Strong experience servicing commercial printers, copiers, or multifunction devices (MFPs)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in a client-facing environment
- Ability to meet or exceed technical performance and customer satisfaction KPIs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including on-call rotations and shift schedules
- Ability to obtain required security clearances to access customer sites
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active (walking, standing, kneeling) for extended periods

- Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, HP, Konica Minolta equipment
- Electromechanical troubleshooting
- Field service engineering
- Managed print services (MPS)
- Networking and connectivity troubleshooting (print servers, drivers, firmware)
- Technical service support in a customer-facing role
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $30 – $35 per hour (Non-Exempt)
