Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately according to prescribed plans
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and oncology nurses to develop and deliver patient treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment details, and report any changes in patient condition
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation regulations, and quality standards
• Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, potential side effects, and self-care

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
• ARRT registry or registry-eligible in radiation therapy (T)
• Active New Mexico Radiation Therapist license (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Willingness to relocate to Las Cruces, NM
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques, including IMRT, SBRT, and VMAT
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
