Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business Growth:
    Prospect and secure new client relationships using referrals, networking, and company-provided tools.
  • Lead Strategic Client Relationships:
    Act as the lead consultant for complex Employee Benefits accounts, delivering solutions and guidance that align with client goals.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    Work closely with client service teams, marketing, and other producers across Practice Areas (Benefits, P&C, Risk, etc.).
  • Deliver Exceptional Client Service:
    Oversee renewals, lead carrier negotiations, and ensure coverage is competitive and comprehensive.
  • Market Expansion & Leadership:
    Act as the anchor hire in Chicago; contribute to hiring, onboarding, and office growth; help evaluate M&A opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • CEBS designation
  • Experience on the agency side preferred (carrier-side considered)
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in leadership, mentoring, or market development
