Senior Project Manager – Construction | Richmond, CA

Energy & Resource is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Construction to lead complex construction projects for a major national energy client in Richmond, CA. This role oversees all phases of construction, mentors project managers, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring accountability and project success.
• Oversee all construction phases: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, contract negotiation, and resource allocation.
• Manage client and subcontractor relationships, providing updates and resolving issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project controls, documentation, procurement, and field operations aligned with company and client standards.
• Drive financial performance through cost estimates, proposal preparation, and proactive issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years managing complex construction projects (MEP systems, renovations) and 3+ years in project controls, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proficiency with project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera), document management tools (Procore, BIM360, PlanGrid), and scheduling/estimating software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced computer skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe, Visio.
