About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead multi-shift maintenance teams in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role oversees bread, batter, fryer, refrigeration, wastewater, mechanical, and electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop multi-shift maintenance teams for plant equipment, production lines, and facility operations.
- Plan and execute capital and expense maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for efficient plant operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues in collaboration with plant leadership.
- Support emergency response, off-shift leadership, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years management experience in food manufacturing maintenance with bread, batter, fryer systems.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration, wastewater treatment, mechanical, electrical systems, and PLC equipment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-40°F to 110°F) and high-noise environments.
- Computer literacy: Excel, MS Word; CAD understanding a plus.
- Stable work history with 3+ years average tenure per prior role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Must use PPE (hearing protection, safety glasses).
- Flexible for extended hours, weekends, and multiple shifts.
